10/4/2012 - Storage Unit Burglary

On October 4th there was a reported burglary from a storage unit at 482 CR 917 which is in Arboles Colorado.  some of the items stolen were, 6+5 mounted elk head, ceder chest, grand father clock, small propane burner, plastic storage container, card board boxes, esfering photo machine and a wood chuck box.

10/2/2012 - House Burglary

                There was a very large burglary on Thursday, September 27th at 4691 E Hwy 160.  during the course of this burglary over $30,000 in property was taken.  some of the items include

custom made log furniture, custom area floor rugs, large china cabinet, paintings.  That is just a small list of the items that were taken.  We are waiting on a detaied list of property from the owner.  as soon as i recieve that I will update the page.

9/15/2012 - Burglary

On September 15, 2012 Deputies responded to the Loma Linda subdivision in reference to a residential cold burglary, which occurred between August 5, 2012 and September 15, 2012.  The investigation revealed that approximately $61,000 worth of merchandise was taken from inside a dwelling.  The following items were reported stolen:

3 flat screen TV’s - Toshiba 65", Vizio 47", HP Laptop, barstools, carved bear statue, Ricoh MFP, Yamaha YZF 450 4-wheeler, Polaris Sportsman 90 4-wheeler, three Stihl chain saws, Craftsman riding lawn mower, $6000 in artwork, 8 custom fly rods, toolbox and tools, coats, 8`x12`x2.5` bean bag chair (blue), two compound bows, four log table lamps, Craftsman battery charger, and numerous other items including a family photo and frames.

9/6/2012 - Burglary

On September 6, 2012 unknown person(s) unlawfully entered a residential building located at 4000 US Forest Service Road 649 (Burns Canyon) and removed a statue valued at $7000.00.  If anyone has any information about the statue, please contact the Archuleta County Sheriff`s Office.

5/26/2012 - Theft

Theft - Between May 25th and May 28th of 2012, six (6) 315 foot rolls of #4 copper ground wire, was stolen from the area of Mill Creek Road.   These items were stolen from a La Plata Electric storage facility and are valued at approximately $700.00 each.

5/13/2012 - Attempted Robbery

Attempted Robbery

 

On May 13, 2012 at 2145 hours, Officers responded to a hold up alarm at the Everyday Store located at 300 E Pagosa Street.   Two suspects wielding a knife attempted to rob the convenience store.  The store clerk described the suspects as two males dressed all in black with their faces covered believed to be Native American or Hispanic.  The first suspect was 6’3” approximately 160 lbs and the second was 5’11” approximately 210 lbs.  Both suspects fled on foot heading east.

4/9/2012 - Arson

Arson - On April 9, 2012 Deputies responded to 815 Barton Circle, Arboles, Colorado in reference to a car fire.  A joint investigation between the Archuleta County Sheriff’s Office and Los Pinos Fire Department determined the fire was intentionally set.

3/17/2012 - Arson

Arson - On March 17, 2012, emergency personnel responded to 75 Ace Court for a structure fire.  Responding fire fighters found a fully involved and fast moving structure fire burning in a two story condominium.  Flames were reportedly reaching thirty feet over the roof of 75 Ace Court.  All occupants were able to escape without injury.  After the fire was extinguished, an investigation was conducted to determine the cause and origin of the fire.  It was determined the fire started in a vehicle, just outside the residence, which quickly spread to the residential building.  The case is currently being investigated by the Pagosa Fire Protection District and the Archuleta County Sheriff’s Office.
